About the integrity policy
The EU established the General Data Protection Regulation 2018, which is valid in all EU countries. The idea is to discourage big companies to collect and resell their customer’s personal data without their knowledge or consent, and other unethical behaviours. I (Anders Erkéus) have no such interests, but with a shop I have to collect certain information from the customers to make it work. Here is the rather formal description:
The personal information we collect and why
We need the personal data to be able to deal with orders and administration of your purchase, to help with questions about products or complaints concerning our products. As an established customer or if you asked for information we may want to reach you sometimes with news.
We also need to thwart misuse of our services and fulfill our duties from the authorities, concerning taxes, book keeping etc.
We collect only the data you left visiting the site or buying products, and information around mail exchanges between us and (as an established customer or on demand) your reactions to the scarce dispaches from us.
How we protect your information
Our customers register is placed on a computer that isn’t connected to the Internet. We don’t share the information with others.
Cookie files
If you have an account an log in to this site, we will create a temporary cookie-file to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie file doesn’t contain any identifiable personal information and disappears when you close the browser.
Additionally, when you log in we will create some cookie files to save information about your login and possible choices of screen layout (order of products etc). Cookie files for login lasts for two days and cookie files for choice of layout lasts a year. If you log out from your account the login cookies will disappear.
Embedded content from other sites
Some pages on this site contains embedded video clips from Youtube, to keep down the size and loading time. If you click on these it is equvialent with visiting Youtube, that can collect data from you, use cookies, embed trackings from third parts and overlook your inteaction with this embedded contents.
Your rights over your data
If you have an account, you can ask for an export file with the personal data we have about you, including all information you sent us. You can also demand that we remove all personal data we have about you, except for data that we have to keep for administrative, legal or security reasons.
